Installing the Blog System (tech only!)

Please follow these steps exactly to set up the blog. Some of these steps may seem unimportant, but they all have a purpose.

1. Create a new layout and name it blog. Make sure to click copy from layout on the left, and choose the layout that your sub pages are all on. For most sites, this is the only other layout created. Save the layouot. You will be taken to it's new template.
2. Go to the template creation systems page and click rename for the blog template. Change the layout to the main layout for the sub pages of the site.
3. Go to the layout creation page. Edit the blog layout, then click on the delete layout link on the right.
          You now have a blog template on the main layout, so you dont need to ever make code edits on two layouts unecessarily; any code edits on the layout will be reflected on both templates.
4. Under the Website Creation tab, click on Manage Systems. Find the blog system on the list, click it's check box, and click the save link at the bottom of the list.
